Rev. Richard Carlini's journey with the Unity Movement began over 25 years ago in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where his passion for spiritual growth and community service first took root. A truth student at heart, he quickly advanced from teaching prosperity classes to serving as a Board member, contributing significantly to the church's development.

Ordained in 2004 after graduating from the Unity School of Religious Studies, Rev. Richard has since served in multiple Unity churches across the United States. His ministry, characterized by innovation and compassion, flourished in places like Phoenix and Seattle before he became the guiding force behind Transform Myself Inc., an alternative Unity ministry.

As a seasoned speaker and educator, Rev. Richard specializes in topics of profound significance—death, dying, and grief. His expertise, honed through years of serving as a Registered Nurse and in hospice care, enriches his classes on "Grief and Bereavement" and "Ministry at the End of Life." His role in the Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute further amplifies his impact, reaching spiritual leaders across the globe.

Rev. Richard's ministerial career is complemented by over four decades in healthcare, nursing, and hospice leadership, imbuing his approach to ministry with deep empathy and practical wisdom. He excels in integrating hospice care services into the health care continuum, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit in operations and increasing sales.

Since 2020, as the minister at Unity of Davis, he has pioneered a vibrant virtual ministry, creating a wide-reaching and inclusive community. His innovative methods in blending the spiritual teachings of various traditions resonate deeply within the congregation and beyond.

Rev. Richard is profoundly committed to inclusive and personalized ceremonial services. He offers LGBT-focused wedding ceremonies, along with compassionate memorials and funerals, tailoring each to honor the uniqueness of those involved. His approach is not only inclusive and respectful but also deeply attentive to the diverse needs of families and individuals.
